Current people I would like to meet: Tiger Woods, my golfing hero, his drive is unquenchable and he is very private, which I respect to the utmost. Rupert Murdoch, a media genus, he has shaped the way most people think, and talking to him would be a pleasure. John Micklethwait (Editor in chief of the Economist), this is my favorite magazine and I would love to know how he decides what to put into it. Steve Jobs, a modern day Napoleon, he overcomes huge obstacles to nab victory out of the jaws of defeat. In time spent with him I would hope to glean some of his problem solving insight, a business hero of mine. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (Is he for Real?), having a conversation where he answered all of my questions truthfully would be quite enjoyable. I can't believe he actually believes a third of what he says.Last but definitely not least, my future wife :)
Blink 182, Snowpatrol, Tim McGraw, Rascal Flats, Yellowcard, Angels and Airwaves,Linkin Park and plus a bunch of country, rock and alternative.
Tough question, here are a few: Man from Snowy River, Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Matrix (first only), The Good the Bad and the Ugly and Its a Mad Mad World, the Rock, Usual Suspects, The Family Man, Lord of War.I love movies, but must confess to not being much of a critic.
I don't watch TV often. I just got into the office....all the cool kids are doing it! But I love watching my Denver Broncos! Go Broncos!!
I love books. I will start with my top 5: the Bible, CS Lewis's Mere Christianity, Alexander Dumas's The Count of Monte Cristo, JRR Tolkien's Works(that's cheating I know), and Little Britches series. These last books had a profound affect on my childhood. In addition I will name some of my other favorite titles: Tale of Two Cities, Three Musketeers, Wuthering Hights, Rob Roy, Treasure Island, David Copperfield, Pickwick Papers, Ben Hur, The Robe, The Republic, Sun Tuz's Art of War, The Leatherstocking Tales (all 5), The Short Game Bible, Sherlock Holms all, The Connecticut Yankee in King Aurthor's Court, War and Peace, The Man in the Iron Mask, Robinson Caruso, Little Men, Eight Cousins, Harry Potter Books and a wide variety of other stuff. My favorite types of books are either historical or informational of some sort (eg Business books, Golf books, poker books, Theology books ect). I don't do much contemporary fictional reading simply because there are a great many classics that I haven't read yet. I like reading those for two reasons: 1) If they have stood the test of time then they are probably good, and 2) It tends to enhance my vocabulary significantly more than current works. If you have a good book please let me know, I love to read and acquire new information.
Heroes? Isn't that a TV show?
