My Life: I am 25, and I live in the Bay Area. I have lived here for about 3 years now. Before that, I attended and graduated from The Master's College (TMC). I have to say that I really enjoyed my time there, and that I walked away from that experience with so many great friends. I love them all.Anyway, since college I have been working - a lot! I worked for KPMG for 2.5 years as a senior associate in the auditing department. I made a ton of great friends there as well (just check out my pics), but the job was super stressful. So, this January I took a new job doing basically the same thing. I just work a lot less. I totally love my new job. I know that it sounds strange to actually enjoy accounting (or auditing rather), but if I am truly honest, then I have to admit that I do enjoy it. I am constantly visiting new clients and learning new things!I have the MOST wonderful Husband(yay! I actually get to say that), Chris, and I love him so much! We met at work of all places, but I now I don't work there anymore. He is originally from Fresno, and he is the most wonderful caring Christian guy. We got married November 11 - and it was so fabulous! See our pictures below! We have the best friends, and it was so great to have them all there with us! If you went to the wedding, and you have pictures, PLEASE send them to me!!!We have two cats, Heidi and Giselle (yes, they are named after Victoria's Secret super models, Heidi Klum and Gisele Bundchen). The truth is that I have two cats, and he gets to come over to my house and play with them. I'm not sure how I got all the chores, and he gets all the fun. Smart man! = )We have started attending Trinity Bible Church in Sunnyvale, and we are really enjoying it!When not working, I love cooking, going to dinner, shopping (any kind of shopping will do), and just hanging out at home. I also am enjoying gardening or rather planting as many plants in the pots on my patio as I possibly can. = PPlease drop me a line! I would love to hear from you!

I'd like to meet:

I would love to meet Giada de Laurentiis - I love love love her cooking show (Everyday Italian). I wish that she could show me how to do all of the magic that she works in the kitchen. Martha Stewart - I know, it's a bit controversial, but as a woman in business, I really do admire her entrepreneurial spirit. Just not her criminal mind, right? = ) If I could go back in time, I would love to talk with Tolstoy; he has such fascinating insights on life. And I've gotta throw it out there - I would love to meet Elizabeth Bennett from Pride & Prejudice. = )

I like The Postal Service, Keane, and James Blunt right now. My long-time favorites are U2, Counting Crows, and The Shins.

Movies:

Recently saw Failure to Launch - very funny!

Television:

Current Favorite show is How I Met Your Mother - so awesome!!! We also like Grey's Anatomy and House. Also - Chris and I are totaly CSI (the Las Vegas one) fanatics

Books:

Wow, where do I start.I love classics! My first real love was Jane Austen, but that's so cliche, right? So lately I've been trying to dig a bit deeper and read some Tolstoy. So far I've read War and Peace and Anna Karenina. I would highly recommend both. I also loved The Count of Monte Christo, Dumas; it is so much better than the movie - read it! I also have to say that another favorite is Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities; what a great story about true sacrificial love.On a more theological level, I really enjoyed Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis and The Call by Os Guinness. I also LOVE R.C. Sproul's monthly Tabletalk. I use it to guide my devotions, and it is so good. We're covering Genesis right now, and it's been very insightful, even for a TMC grad. = )
