Movies:
Riddle 1 - go to:
http://www.imdb.com/
Search for Rutger Hauer and try to figure out which films are good.
Search for John Malkovich and try to figure out which films are bad.
Search for David Lynch, read about Eraserhead and convince yourself
that you should see it. Then do that.
Television:
Not necessarily.
Books:
Everything by Dostojevkij and the only thing by Kennedy OToole.
Heroes:
Right now its George Clooney and Neil Young for using their
art to speak out about what is going on, in different ways.
David Lynch is also a hero.
He came out of the woods and discovered art.
And ideas.
And he seems to believe, just like Werner Herzog,
that nothing is more important than the realization
of artistic ideas. And he does it in his very
own way, making risktaking a strategy for surviving.
