More than you wanted to know:
-
I have no idea what I am going to be doing a year from now, let alone tomorrow. I like it that way.
My nerves are shot practically all the time these days.
The most important thing to me in life is understanding it and acheiving balance.
I am, admittedly, horrible at the third thing on this list.
My work experience includes everything from golf course maintenance to surgical tech and from PC tech to head waiter.
In relationships, I am, when it all boils down, a hopeless romantic. I tend to avoid being alone mainly because I do not function well without a good support structure.
The only jobs that I really have enjoyed was waiting tables/bartending and doing graphic design.
My occasional awkwardness around a person is usually because I do not understand them.
Sushi makes me happy, especially when sharing it with others. I enjoy exposing others to new and exciting things.
My biggest fear is ruining friendships. It has happened before, and I am sure it probably will happen again.
I have studied most major religions, and I have come to the conclusion that, in regards to religion, nobody knows what the fuck they are talking about, especially not me.
I would much rather work under a ridiculous deadline than be given all the time in the world. Stress feeds my strengths, but unfortunately my weaknesses as well.
Very few people ever see me at my most open and vulnerable state. Those of you who do, be gentle.
MySpace profile customization code is ridiculously horrible. I much prefer W3C web standards to this style of bunk coding.
I am anything but normal. Sometimes I wonder if I should reconsider that aspect of my life.
Instead of becoming a doctor, I am going into a field that is not nearly as financially secure but that I absolutely adore.
I hate drama. I avoid it like the plague, and if you start causing drama for me, I will avoid you like the plague. And plagues are bad.
I just recently moved to Chicago and know almost no one. If you're from the Chicago area and feel like you're worth knowing, talk to me. I'd talk to you. I'm nice like that.
To Write Love On Her Arms :: a movement worth supporting.
I am horribly addicted to reading webcomics and blog RSS feeds.
The "choices" series by xkcd.com is one of my favorites of all times.:
Part One | Part Two | Part Three | Part Four | Part Five
As of late, I have been slacking some on my gaming industry news, but I am one of the Contributing Authors and am the U.S. Editor of Quicksave Junkie:
In addition to all of that, I work for several web design and development companies as a freelancer (some in the Chicago area, some in the Mobile area where I previously lived). I am almost always online as a result of this working situation. I use AIM, Skype, Yahoo, and on the rare occasion Windows Live as messaging clients in addition to MySpace, so if you're bored during the day, message me here and we can chat as I work on websites in between photo shoots (Yeah. I do that, too).
