South Gate

I am South Gate, California. I am but one of the many suburbs that make up Los Angeles. While he is more widely known than I, I have chosen to take the more subtle route and not be popularized in order to protect my community. I am mainly composed of brown, but there are small traces of white, black, and yellow. I have a few rowdy neighboors like Watts and Lynwood that I talk too, but they're not really my style. When my girlfriend Huntington Park dumped me I was feeling a little confused about my identity, but then I met Hollydale and I knew she was true. Most of my streets start with 'San' something because I like the beach, so instead of sand I chose San (like San Miguel) to make my likeness of sand not so obvious. My buses try to run on time, but I've had trouble with the 117 (that one comes out of rowdy Watts so who knows what he's doing over there!). I am old, but I've kept my figure toward the Park in pretty good shape. The side after the tracks isn't as nice though (I kinda let myself go around that area! lol). If you're looking for property, good luck. I'm pretty much filled to capacity. I even have to make a second south gate high school because it's so crowded here! Looking for music? Head on down to Yuri's records for all your CD, tape, poster, record, and t-shirt needs. Smoker? Well you're still in the right place, Yuri's offers a wide variety of pipes for the whole family. No problem, Cousimano's offers a wide range of homestyle pizza made most 'efficiently' and Pete's Patio makes a burger no man could resist. Sick of giving money to the million dollar movie rental tycoons? Look no further than Video Showcase or 20/20 Video. Footlocker? No thanks, I'll stick with the quaint Shoe Port Village with both friendly and helpful employees. All in all, I feel pretty good about myself so show your support and help keep me alive. Thank You.
