His entourage is thick and filled with a variety of talent hailing from all over the United States. With a strong southern swagger and a name in the streets, Greezy has already established himself as a storm to be reckoned with. Growing up, Greezy never had a very stable life. Without a father, moving from city to city, living in cramped apartments shared with several other families, and alone the young musician ran the streets and was well known for his drug use and common encounters with law enforcement. Soon his problems caught up with him and he was forced to go to a rehab facility. It was there that he turned to music; no TV, no radio, no link to the world outside. For a year and 2 days he was in rehab and while he was in, he mastered his skills and opened his eyes to a new opportunity to change his life. Settling in Jacksonville Florida, Greezy began to hone his own creative style. Working long days to master his newfound talent. He would go to heavy populated areas and ask to have freestyle battles with anyone who was willing. By never losing, he had started a buzz for himself as a battle master in the streets of Jacksonville.But Greezy wanted more and in the summer of 2006 his first mix tape debuted in the streets and was a phenomenon. Out of a bathroom with some pillows for soundproofing came this new southern sound. It was a blend of hard-core rhythms with a fresh, smooth, southern style. From that mix tape; Greezy was picked up with a team of local artists to start performances at local clubs and bars. By making his name known in the streets he was able to get the first connections he needed to help him step up in the game. He was featured as the main artist on a mix tape done by a group of performers in Jacksonville and by may 2007 had his second mix tape recorded and out before the summer hit. This time it was all professional quality and “Status:Boss” was an instant hit in the streets. With monster fan favorites like: “Come ride with me”, “ Mr. Rich Guy”, and “ Getting’ home” Greezy’s fan base grew in gigantic numbers over night! Being a true leader, Greezy then started up his own entertainment group Greezy ENT, which included local artists Young Prince and Murda.His non-stop energy for writing and his ability to transform lyrics into music that can relate to anyone is what has made Greezy a well-known independent artist in the south. He is very unique and his style cannot be duplicated, replicated or tainted. Greezy is an unstoppable powerhouse that has collaborated with many talented emcees to create a whirlwind of extreme diversity.Greezy strives to be the best and will not be stopped at anything.
