We are two somewhat progressive, eco-minded, left-leaning, rural living, neo-homesteaders trying to find a balance in our lives where we can live a sustainable existance. We would love to have the luxury of a 6 figure income and a 7 figure bank account. However, the reality is that we live in Southwestern NY which is, sadly, in decline. Right now we are working on learning about livestock and woodland crops with an eye towards production for market. It has been and will continue to be a learning experience for a british boy from greater manchester and a small town girl who only had dogs as pets.
