I would appreciate all prayers for his family and for love to fill the air as we begin to understand this loss and the wonders of a life lived. Thank You all for all the friendship through the years. - Senna (12/24/06). You can contact me at http://myspace.com/pandorasun6 "s august". God Bless*************************************************Since 1998 Slate Hill Phil and his band from rural Virginia have performed and shared the stage with legends such as John Jackson, The Del McCoury Band, Billy Joe Shaver and many others. Phil can be seen playing guitar, banjo, lap steal, harmonica and autoharp. The Slate Hill Shows first recording Memory Lane was reviewed by Rebel Records and can be purchased through County Records ( http://www.countysales.com/ ). He also recorded with The Hackensaw Boys on their second recording endeavor, Keep it Simple, and works with The Virginia Vagabonds, a well know band established in 1937. Fiddler April Flynn first teamed up with Slate Hill Phil seven years ago. Now joined by Adam Broderson on guitar, vocals, and harmonica. You have to see The Slate Hill Show to believe it!
