ADAM & his NUCLEAR ROCKETS

ADAM & his NUCLEAR ROCKETS started playing in 2003., as a result of an urgent need for a true vintage, 50s sounding rockabilly band in the capital city of Croatia. Darko "DD" Grosek, lead guitarist, and Jurica "Slappinjoy" Stelma, double bassist, came up with an idea to form such band, since they both played for many years in the Mad Men and Mississippi Queen and sharing tons of gallons of domestic beer... The main inspiration was their best of friends, Josip "Joke" Adam, who was to become a backbone on the drum set. Initially all started to provoke some positive reaction, wanted people to losen up a bit and have fun, and we named the band SADAM & his NUCLEAR ROCKETS. But, noone seemed to be laughing, and soon after we closed the record deal with Spanish label EL TORO RECORDS, just had to change the band`s name. Nevertheless, the main idea was still kept alive, and we enjoy playing our own rockabilly material which can be heard on the debut CD album "ROCK AND ROLL FOR A DIME", released on EL TORO RECORDS in February 2006.WWW.SCREAMINFESTIVAL.COMI edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
