About Me

Try the BEST MySpace Editor and MySpace Backgrounds at MySpace Toolbox !
I don't feel as old as I am and I don't act it really but I love life, traveling, hitting sports events. I love getting back in touch with people that I used to know--since I have moved a lot. I have Capitals (hockey) season tickets, Redskins season tickets, monthly tickets to the Nationals--play softball and flag football. I love trying new restaurants! The washingtonian is good for recommendations (only in Wash DC) but the rest of the magazine won't really apply to me until I make millions of dollars a year.
Foreign travel rocks...places I have been--QUEENSTOWN,NEW ZEALAND rocks!; Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns, Great Ocean Road, Outback, etc); Guatemala; All of Western Europe (love Munich, Berlin, Aix En Provence, Paris, Monaco, Florence, Edinburgh, Kilkenny)--I got to travel to the Universite de Toulon when I was in school at George Mason University and "study" for a summer. It was amazing! Except French people love to discuss politics and I detest it. Other than that, they were amazing to me.
Still want to hit Greece, Turkey, Hong Kong, South Africa, Russia, Lithuania, Hungary, Poland, Norway, Brazil...maybe Ghana...everywhere
I adopted Bogey down here (the monkey) because my daughter worships them--hers is proudly named "Monk-Monk" MySpace Profile Photo Editor adopt your own virtual pet!

My Interests

Classic Movies and Genealogy which makes me 80... 80s music and karaoke which makes me 40 (and Korean)... Sports-watching, playing and gambling, which makes me a dude... Drinking beer in the driveway which makes me a redneck... Chasing my daughter around and vacationing with my husband which makes me happy/poor!

I'd like to meet:

49ers of the glory days: Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Tom Rathman, Ronnie Lott, Roger Craig, Steve Young, Brent Jones--thanks for the memories guys!

Music:

Weird range--definitely known for my love of 80s music but I mostly listen to classic rock: CCR, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, etc. I think most people would hate 50% of the songs saved on my computer but I love music and appreciate all kinds with the exception of country...Oh and Duran Duran will always hold an important place in my heart ;)

Movies:

Mallrats (hence my headline quote)
Star Wars
Lord of the Rings trilogy
Strange Brew
Better Off Dead
The Philadelphia Story
Pride and Prejudice (old version)

Television:

Too much TV--I love 24, Amazing Race, Without a Trace, UK show Dream Team, Scrubs, Project Runway

Books:

Currently reading Vivien Leigh's biography--just finished Wicked and hated it....Harlan Coben is the current favorite author
