Candace

My name is Candace Michelle Funk and I am 22 years old. I'm originally from St Norbert, where I grew up, went to school and eventually graduated high school, even attended the University of Manitoba for a couple years. I've now ventured out on my own but still come back there every day to go to work at BSI Insurance Brokers. My life has changed drastically in the last year... I've grown up and moved on and met new (fabulous) people which I cherish very much, but I can't help but wonder how my life would have been if not for meeting these people. Would I have remained living the same life I had been living since I was five years old or would fate have kicked in and eventually pushed me in this same direction? I find myself asking that question alot lately. I feel as though this is where I am suppose to be! This year has also brought me so much closer to my family, My mom, my hero, has shown me that I need the support of no one to be who I am and to be strong. My dad, I'm such a daddy's girl, has always been so proud of me and has now shown me how to be proud of myself. My brother... who now I consider one of my closest friends, is more of a caring person than I ever knew. I know that you cannot choose which family you get but I am so thankful that I fot this one! xoxo guys I love you!
