About Me

"The more you know about who you are and what you want, the less things upset you."

It's tough living in a mobile home. Wait...no it isn't. I enjoy not having electricity. I workout at a boxing gym where Vern and I punch each other until we fall over. I shower all over the city of Los Angeles. I write my successes and failures on the ceiling over my bed, assigning points to each one. My fridge runs on propane. I can't take a poo in my own toilet. My shower has metal detectors and shinai (bamboo swords) along with a guitar and laundry. I have two cabinets for clothes, two cabinets for my random junk, and a daily drawer. Nightly, Vern and I smoke pipes and indulge in a bottle of red wine or scotch...with an occasional brew. My home can drive, can yours?I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Interests

Being outside.

I'd like to meet:

You. In my RV. Immediately.

Music:

I cut this. Watch Switchfoot, Tony Hale, Adam Campbell and Jayma Mays. Directed by Brandon Dickerson. A lot gets lost in the compression, but I'm sure you'll like it.

Television:

LOST, That 70s Show. Other than that, it's pretty much crap.

My Blog

Three of life's simplest pleasures.

These three things make me smile anytime they occur.1) Being so dirty that when I wash my hands, the sink turns black.2) Flossing until my teeth until my gums bleed.3) Anytime I'm pooing and it makes ...

The Next Step-Life in a Winnebago

Mountain Man Installment 5 - The Final

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I have done it. I set out on October 21, 2005 to camp until December 15, 2005.  At that time, Vern and had planned to have an apartment to move into on the 15th, thus the ...

Mountain Man Installment 4

There is new news. Since the last email, I touted that I had now become the spoiled Beach Man that camped near the ocean and fell asleep under the stars while the ocean crashed within earshot. The e...

Mountain Man Installment 3b

Poison Oak.  Don't get it. Ever. I have it, and have had it, for the past month.  It spreads faster than bunnies in an orgy.  Does that analogy make any sense?  I don't know. Name ...

Mountain Man Installment 3

I wonder if my new installment should be called Beach Bum Installment or Urban Outdoorsman now that I am living in a tent right on the coast. I fall asleep hearing the waves crashing on the shore of ...

Mountain Man Installment 2

So this one will not be as philosphical or as intuitive as the first installment, I apologize. I wish it could be, yet I will say that this thought-fart will be full of exciting news and important up...

Mountain Man Installment 1

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I ha...
