My husband and my kids have been my focus for the last 29 years. They will always be my main focus. My oldest, Joseph, moved to LA a few months back and I miss him dearly. Stefan is my second son and trying hard to get out of high school and my baby, Kaitlyn, is working hard at staying out of trouble and learning the fine art of cosmetology.Beyond them, I love to read, watch tv and listen to music. Oh!! But I'd have to admit that bargain shopping is my all time favorite past time! I love to get something for nothing!
Larry and I love music. He played in a rock band for years and we still enjoy going to the club or music festivals. I've met a good number of the players that I'd like to meet but still would love to have a conversation with one of MY favorites. . . .Ted Nugent!
Contemporary Blues is the name I've given to my current favorite kind of music. I love all kinds but The Tommy Castro Band, The Tab Benoit Band, Jimmy Thackery, Jimmy Hall, and many others on the blues circuit, are my favorites. I also enjoy listening to today's country music which I have to tell y'all is nothing but the southern rock of the 70's. . . . .just compare them to the Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc. and you'll see what I mean.
I am a movie freak. I love to go to the "$1" movie and sit through three or four shows. I'm not real picky; comedy, drama, scary. . . .just keep the popcorn and soda coming and I'll sit there all day. My all time, all time favorite though would have to be Gone With the Wind. I know, I know. . .what can I say. . I am a southern girl after all!
I love all the CSIs, Law and Orders, Nip/Tuck, and my all time favorite THAT 70'S SHOW! (I wonder why that would be my favorite?)
I love to read. Right now I'm reading "A Million Little Pieces".. . . okay, so I have to insert something here. . . . . while reading this book, I kept asking myself how this could possibly be true. Well, I STILL haven't finished the book after all these months and now I know why. The guys a liar. . . . . . .so I've moved on. Now I'm reading "The Last Town on Earth". I love anything written about southern life but also like to venture out into the "artsy fartsy" world and read things that I have to really focus on to get.
I'd have to say that my husband is my hero. He's put up with me and my loud family for 29 years and he's one of the quietest, most private people you'll ever meet. He works hard to keep us all in shoes and rarely complains.
