I'm trying so hard right now to find a witty way to update my profile but alas, I am continually coming up empty handed. Not that I can't be witty, I swear that I can, just not today, at this moment, on this profile. So, my only choice now is to go with straightahead truth? Well, first off, I start a great deal of sentences, both written and spoken, with the word well. I feel it allows my audience, listening or reading, to prepare themselves for the brilliance that is soon to follow. Wait, is this trying to be funny? Back to truth. I'm new to New York but have to say that the adjustment has been a fairly smooth one. Here comes the other shoe. I work in the performing arts, which for me, is almost a dream come true. Sad, really, I suppose. Speaking on personality, I have to say I'm a pretty laid back individual. I used to be quite uptight but finally realized there was no point. As my mom always says, "You only get angry at the things you can't control." So wise. So now I just generally go with the flow, only getting really worked up over idiotic, political goings on and people who refuse to expand their minds. All in all I enjoy so many things, crazy outings, quiet evenings, and everything in between as long as they are done with wonderfully fun, sweet and intriguing people, such as those I am fortunate enough to call my friends.
