Noah King spent 6 years touring up and down the west coast, playing 150 shows a year with the eclectic party rock band JUMBO. He then moved to L.A. and hit the audition circuit, and even once auditioned for the Wallflowers. But it was at this time that he started to become increasingly disillusioned with the music business. It was then that he made a conscious decision to stop being a sideman, and just make the music that He wanted to hear.
What followed were a string of solo albums that brought together his classic rock roots and prog rock adolescence.
Pain Of Love is his 2006 release, and has drawn comparisons to The Mars Volta, Sunny Day Real Estate and Our Lady Peace.
