MINIMAL TV Javi Cadavieco is the mind of this project,he was born in Palma de Mallorca in 1978. He made Photographic studies in the Superior School of art&design of Palma de Mallorca, also he made a Master of fashion&publicity photography in IDEP-Barcelona.His anxiety as VJ born in the collective "the infrasonic society", when in the year 2001 take part in the creation of this artistic collective where graphic&web artists, musics, DJ..s, photographers, etc,..., worked together, making thematic nights where they mix all this styles. There was when he begins to mix static image with the dynamic for made a real time synchronized with the music. In 2002 he begins to project video-art pieces in the collective events, making real time performances with some DJs, playing with actors, projections, and music, creating interactivity with the spectator.At the end of 2002 he move to Barcelona and begins "MINIMAL TV" video-art outside the conventional places. His artistic work as VJ in clubs and Discotheques. Since them he has played in clubs of Barcelona, Berlin and maybe all of Mallorca, having residences in the most important, like TITO..S(in), Main Club, and Sala Fonica. Also he take part in Festivals, like: Budweisser-ISLADENCANTA(Palma, 2003), AVIT U.K. (Brighton, 2003), PING(Andratx, 2005) showing "TEXTURAS" with Valentin de Moreda (synthez)& Paz Juan(soprano) , PITCH-Mallorca electronic festival(Palma, 2006), L'AUBA (Can Picafort, 2007), FIESTAS DE SANT SEBASTIÀ-electronic stage (Palma, 2008), Ciclo S0N1V1S10 with Pedro Trotz(Valencia, 2008), and others. At the end of 2006 he get back to Mallorca leaving Berlin, and starts the new year with a residence in the prestigious club “Sala Fonica” Also he collaborate with the well-known band " MADELFUNK" as VJ, playing video&audio in all the concerts of the Band and has create with the producer TIEF an audiovisual project called “D.A.V.E.”.He take part in some solo exhibitions like "TIME”, la misericordia(Palma) and “LOST IDENTITY”,La Real(Palma), group exhibitions like “POCKETS”, Fabrica de Licors(Palma), Espai Mallorca(Barcelona), “ARTMODA”, Galeria la Real(Palma), and others. Also he take part in the first edition of the Art festival “JAM ART'07”(Palma).Actually combine his VJ sessions with the elaboration of documentary films, shorts films, music videos, and video-installations.Minimal tv is based on the creation of images, transformation of images, and later mix them at real time synchronized with the music. Always dominated with a style less graphic using more video and animations created by photographic technics. A live of Minimal tv is based in the grouping of thematics and the evolution of them throw the show, shows that can be all the night, since the first song to the last, thing that make you be in parallel with the music evolution with no repetitions in the more of 6 hours that can last the show, always starting from the loop, using different technics, old ones like “stop motion” or new ones like 2D animations in 3D fields, or the video collage. “... a good VJ is not who have beautiful images, y always try to have a sense, since the image that I project to the mix that I make with the next image, always explain anything and trying that my images produce sensations deeply rooted to the sensations that produce the music that is playing in that moment, and of course always synchronized with the music.”

Javi Cadavieco es el encargado de este proyecto, nació en Palma de Mallorca en 1978. Cursó estudios fotográficos en la Esc. Superior de diseño y restauración de Palma, y IDEP(Bcn), especializándose en fotografía publicitaria, industrial y de moda.En 2001, participa en la creación del colectivo artístico “the Infrasonic Society”, donde se juntaron toda clase de artistas, desde diseñadores gráficos, de web, músicos, fotógrafos, etc... con la idea de crear noches temáticas donde mezclar todas estas ramas artísticas. Fue cuando empezó a fusionar la imagen estática con la dinámica para crear 1 sincronismo con la música a tiempo real. En 2002 empezó a proyectar piezas de videoarte dentro de los eventos del colectivo, creando performances a tiempo real con DJ..S, enlazando proyecciones y actores, produciendo una interactividad con el espectador.A finales del 2002 se traslada a Barcelona y crea “MINIMAL TV” videoarte fuera de los ámbitos convencionales. Una faceta como Videojockey en los clubs y discotecas. Desde entonces ha proyectado en clubs de Barcelona, Berlín y en los clubs y discotecas más importantes de la isla de Mallorca, teniendo residencias en TITO..S(IN), Main Club y Sala Fónica. También ha estado en Festivales como: ISLADENCANTA(Palma, 2003), AVIT U.K. (Brighton, U.K.), PING(Andratx, 2005) presentando "TEXTURAS"con Valentin de Moreda (synthez)& Paz Juan(soprano) , PITCH-Mallorca electronic festival(Palma, 2006), L'AUBA ( Can Picafort, 2007), FIESTAS DE SANT SEBASTIÀ-escenario electrónico(Palma, 2008) y Ciclo S0N1V1S10 con Pedro Trotz(Valencia, 2008) entre otros.A finales del 2006 regresó a Mallorca dejando Berlín, y estrenó con el nuevo año una residencia en Sala Fónica, la cual aun mantiene compaginándolo con grandes eventos. También colabora con el Grupo Mallorquín “MADELFUNK” como VJ de esta formación musical y ha creado junto al productor afincado en Inglaterra “TIEF” un proyecto audiovisual: “D.A.V.E."Ha participado en exposiciones individuales como “TIEMPO”, la Misericordia(Palma), y la recién estrenada “IDENTIDAD PERDIDA” la Real(Palma), colectivas como “POCKETS”, Fabrica de licors(Palma), Espai Mallorca(Bcn) y "ARTMODA" Galería La Real(Palma) entre otras. También ha participado en la primera edición de la Feria de Arte emergente "JAMART'07"(Palma).Actualmente compagina sus sesiones de VJ con la elaboración de documentales, cortometrajes, video-clips, dos de los últimos fueron finalistas en el "artjove-Palma", y video-instalaciones.
