August 4th 1982 DJ Tim Davis was born. Sometimes they say that Belgian people are born with a brick in their stomach. In Tims case you could state that the brick would be a big musical note. Music microbe took control over Tim quite fast. At the age of 9, he was already experimenting with a small rock band. After a few rehearsals, he decided to quit the group but his life kept on showing one big passion, which was of course music. At 14, Tim played his very first set at a local party. From local party to local party it went on to a local radio station, called M.O.S. This is the place were he made various dance programmes for the period of one year. At that time, his motive was less talk, more music. These radio adventures made him a bit more experienced so after one year, he felt the need to concentrate on electronic dance music which implies his C-dance chapter. At C-dance, he gained a lot of experience and received the support from the right people. Thanks to this station, he got the opportunity to play about six C-Dance party sets at Club Lamborghieni. Lamborghieni is also the place where Tim really tasted how the Trance and hard trance worlds look like. At the end of 2001, Tim started a new concept named Addicted 2 Trance. In this programme, he focussed more on the rather progressive music style (Progressive Trance and Progressive House). His love for Progressive grew so fast, that you could say it turned out to be his obsession. He started playing live sets of DJs like DJ Ciacomix (Germany), DJ Mmemonic (Holland), DJ WoReBu (Germany) and many many more. After 6 months of Addicted 2 Trance, Tims life changed course when he signed the radio that had captured him ever since he was a child SIS Radio Ghent. 10th of August 2002 (only 1 week after his 20th birthday) is a historical date in Tims life as that was the day on which his voice could be heard on Topradio air for the first time (frequencies on which you could hear his programme were at that time (102.8 Fm [Ghent], 105.3 Fm [Bruges], 106.0 Fm [Kortrijk], 107.1 Fm [Deinze], 106.6 Fm [Oudenaarde], 103.4 Fm [Brussels]. It is quite obvious that changing from one local FM frequency to six frequencies was meant to have a big impact on Tims life. Addicted 2 Trance would soon be known on the Topradio airwaves, whereas the well known concept remained unchanged. Thanks to the big support of The Mystic Force (Hans), Tim got the necessary support from different labels and this is how he started to play the exclusive guest mixes. Max Graham, James Holden, Darren Emerson, Jonathan Lisle, Chris Fortier, Tim Deluxe, Shiloh, Hernan Cattaneo, they all have one thing in common: they all performed on Tims show. May 31st 2003 is a date in history which stands for the beginning of the new Topradio, available on 27 frequencies all over the Belgian country. From June 1st onwards, the listener of Topradio experienced a completely new formula known under the name of Rotationz. Addicted to trance has been carried to its grave, but lives on in the soul of Rotationz. Of course Tim makes a lot more than only good radio programmes, he is also a terrific DJ and this could be because he focuses mainly on his own style. This style goes from Trance (in all its ways) to Club/House and even by a good techno beat DJ Davis could be tempted. If you would ask him what kind of music he prefers to play, hed definitely answer that his soul is where Progressive House/House/Electro is. At the end of September 2007 he quits Rotationz and joins The Party Station to experience a diffrent way of doing Radio. What's coming up next?
Now he started his own Production Company Called: Vibe Productions . This is a Company which produces Commercials and Voice Over jobs for Documentaries, Business movies and Message On Hold Systems .
