About Me

Look deep in to your soul and then find the mirror image of what you see. That's me. I know, sounds a little "out there", but that's me too. I see no way to describe myself with words without putting constraints and controls on my being, so just use your imagination and then be surprised when you actually get to know me.

My Interests

Spiritual pursuits. Life and death. People and animals. Air, land and sea and everything that connects them. Dharma studies. My family. Improving my approach and living peace.

I'd like to meet:

Bobby Sands, Arthur Adamov, Markus Junius Brutus, Cleopatra, Clara Blandick, Thich Quang Duc, Jim Jones, Hart Crane, Ernest Hemingway, Margeaux Hemingway, Michael Hutchence, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Wilhelm Lehmbruck, Marcus Annaeus Lucanus, Titus Lucretius, Mithridates, Lucius Domitius Nero, Sylvia Plath, Lucius Annaeus Seneca, Socrates, Vincent van Gogh, Heinrich von Kleist, Stanislav Ignaci Witkiewicz, Virginia Woolf, Jerry Garcia, Albert Hoffman, Neil Cassady, Sergei Esenin, Abbie Hoffman, Charlotte Perkins Gilman,George Eastman, Vachel Lindsay, Lupe Velez, Bernadine Dohrn, Rap Brown, Mark Rudd, Armstrong Brothers, Kathy Boudin and you.

Music:

Van Morrison, Sweet Vine, Bob Marley, Jimmy Reed, blues, jazz, rock, heavy metal, classical, hip hop, trance, well...just about everything. I do avoid country because the general feel and vibe in the music doesn't seem to have an effect on my that I welcome.

Movies:

I truly love cinematic art. some fo my favorites are Breakfast at Tiffany's, Boondock Saints, Kundun, Seven Years in Tibet, Chasing Amy, Almost Famous, Bicentinial Man, Logans Run, Dr Strangelove, Glory Daze and the list goes on and on.

Television:

24, Geico commercials, CNBC, West Wing reruns, Crossing Jordan, House, really I don't watch too much, but these are the ones I like to see when I get the chance.

Books:

Being Peace is probably the best book I have ever read. I used to read a lot of different authors, but now I am having a hard time finding any that aren't a rewording of someone elses work.

Heroes:

My father and his father, Van Morrison, Any man who can grill a good steak. Really, I don't have any heroes in the traditional sense of the word, but these are a few men who have influenced my actions the most.
