Naked News was conceived in 1998 and made its debut in December 1999 asan Internet program at www.NakedNews.com. With no advertising, relyingsolely on word of mouth, the program quickly became a phenomenon,boasting over 6 million unique visitors per month.
The program's catchphrase 'The Program with Nothing to Hide' says itall. Not only do we uncover the facts, but we also uncover thepresenters who deliver those facts.
Bright, energetic, and fast-paced, the program delivers news andcurrent events from around the world, in addition to a variety oflifestyle and entertainment features, all presented by female anchorswho disrobe to full nudity. In addition to the regular anchors whoappear on the program, Naked News also features amateur Guest Anchors(auditioning for a place on the program) as well as celebrity andup-and-coming models.
The success of the Naked News can be attributed to both the nudity andthe solid and informative content, which is presented in a series ofthemed segments like International News, Entertainment, Sports, andLife & Leisure. Don't be mistaken, the program is sensual, but not sexualin nature. Viewer feedback indicates that many people show up for thenaked, but stay for the news.
