About Me

just got my nomination to serve in the Peace Corps, pending my medical clearance, I'll be leaving my beautiful hometown soon enough for the next big adventure in my life...I'm super excited amongst other things. and now onto the generic stuff...textbook Sagittarius, so stop reading here if you get bored easily. I LOVE to travel, I set a goal to visit some new corner of the world every year of my life when I graduated HS and I've been thusfar successful. I'm educated. I have lofty goals. I don't take myself or life seriously (unless I need to)... A combination of dualities, trying to live a life unjaded. add a touch of occasional neuroticism with a full cup each of brashness and eloquence and you've got a good recipe for veemo.

Books:

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley (anything Huxley really, he's a quite delicious author), 1984 by George Orwell, 2nd Treatise of Government by John Locke is fascinating, all the harry potters to date, Politics of Injustice by Katherine Beckett, bridget jones series was hilarious. Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan, Crude by Sonia Shah, To Kill A Mocking Bird is really good too.

It's in. My Peace Corps application. Today was the deadline for a summer departure. I put on my application that the earliest I could be considered ready to go is 8/1/2007. wow. Let's hope this works...
