I love art in all its forms, but my favorite is music. It's a huge part of who I am. So hmmm, other then the arts I love to travel. Italy is my favorite, so far, and I want to go back, but I also have lots of other places to see. I'd like to learn the languages of all the places I plan on seeing and Rome is really good with languages so he'll be learning with me. Oh, and I love this awesome website, Post Secret, it is updated every Sunday with secrets written on post cards that have been submitted anonymously. It’s amazing so you should check it out! http://postsecret.blogspot.com/ And this other site gives you the opportunity to help others help themselves! www.kiva.org
well, obviously Josh & Mariah, but I think Heath Leger is quite cute, LOL!OK, so now that I'm done dreeming, I'd really like to meet up with old friends, of course some new friends, and any one who wants to talk music or Autism.
LOL! In case you hadn't noticed yet I sorta have a thing for music! Basicly I'll listen to anything once, but I like anything I can sing to, that makes you want to dance, or that has awesome instramental solos. I am currently enjoying Pink Martini so check them out at pinkmartini.com. I love the tachnical side to music too. What sound is, how it is produced, and how the ear hears it. Pitch, intonation, decibles, herts, and sound waves it is all really interesting. I love composing and writting lyrics, and singing along to the radio. I like to play any instrement I can get my hands on, even if I'm not that good, I hope to have a huge collection and know how to play all of them someday. I think I'll get a violin next.
I love movies even though I don't get a lot of time to watch them. I like all sorts; comedy, horror, chick flicks, B movies, old black and white movies, film festival, just like music I'll try anything once. But to all you star wars fans I'll appologise now, because I have never made it through the entire movie. I love: 10 Things I Hate About You, Rent, A Mid-Summer Nights Dreem, The Goonies, Phantom of the Opera, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Mad Hot Ballroom, Take the Lead, Jaws, Much Adu About Nothing and a million others I can't think of, Oh, and Monty Python! And if you love Monty Python too go here for an answer to the age old question http://www.style.org/unladenswallow/
I don't often watch TV and I think alot of my favs went off the air, but I dig the Simpsons, Ace of Cakes, Dead Like Me, Dog Wisperer, Criminal Minds, and some others I'll add when I think of them.
I like to learn so what is educational, any thing about autism spectrum disorders, mood disorders, or music. currently reading "The TEACCH Approach To Autism Spectrum Disorders." It's been very helpful so far. Also "The Bipolar Child" and "Raising A Moody Child." I actually got to read something for fun rather then education too, it's called The Birth of Venus, and I couldn't put it down! Oh, and I'm a huge dork and I love some of my son's books too. The "How Do Dinasours...." series is the best!
Josh Groban,Mariah Carey, andKim & Elizabeth Kamerin It's seems a bit silly, and I'm not sure heros is the correct term, but they have brought me alot inspiration.
