I have always loved the drums. I've been playing the drumkit since I was 12. I was introduced to Drum and Bass in 1999 after moving to Milwaukee to go to college. As soon as i heard that break kickin and the dark basslines, it was all over. I stated experimenting with rebirth and reason in 2000. I started Djing in 2001 after a friend of mine loaned me his first pair of turntables and never looked back. In October 2004, I met Pete and we connected on some studio business. We write drum and bass under the name Infrasound. Our lead-off tune is called Down and can be heard on the player so give a listen and post some feedback.
2006 was an interesting year for me... much to my dismay I moved from milwaukee to toledo. I miss my "illwaukee" crew a ton. [What up kids? Come down and see the new digs!] Although its nice to see the family again after 7 years in Wisconsin, its was a massive culture shock. Down has had some air play on Bassdrive.com thanks to (in no particular order) dFunk, Methodus, dj Amnesty, and Stunna.
2007 started off proper! I have been getting into darker electro of late. I saw Jackal & Hyde do a live PA a while back and it rekindled my love of electro that Chris introduced me to back in 2000. It has inspired me as a dj and a producer. Electro mixes to come soon. I landed a slot on NuBreaks.com. My show is a selection dark electro breaks as well as some neurofunk drum and bass... if i can get my 3rd table repaired soon its gonna get silly. 2008 is sorting out nicely. I have teamed up with Exodus from Breakloose Detroit to play regularly on Wednesdays at the Weekly "Wired Sessions". I play Dark Electro with the occasional Neurofunk or Ragga set. I have all but rebuilt the studio (microKontroller is still giving me trouble) and reconfigured it to start producing some nasty Electro. I have also joined the Devine Disorder Collective. We are a world wide collective of Electro producers form the States, UK, Germany, and beyond. We are gathering some serious talent. Get ready. Its going to be a wild ride!
