I seem to collect side projects until they overwhelm me, jettison them, then pick them back up slowly and start the cycle again. Currently, we're concepting out some story ideas for a film to make sometime this fall. I think there's plans in my future for getting in shape enough to run a timed mile, and climb some rocks again, but other than that I do what other people do I guess. Spend time with friends, shout in bars, and make a fool out of myself.
Someone as pretty as an airport.
Such a difficult thing to nail down. I'll put down a top five (at the moment of course!)
- Chinatown
- Iron Giant
- Man on Fire
- Fallen Angels
- Once Upon a Time in the West
I don't watch much television at all. I tend to get excited aout shows a couple years after they have their run, then obsessively watch the DVDs. (see Arrested Development, Scrubs, Battlestar Galactica, Deadwood, Six Feet Under)
I've been having a difficult time reading any fiction recently, so I've been into books such as Tipping Point, Freakonomics, The Nightengale's Song, Killing Yourself to Live, etc. Among the all time favorites though, are: Shantaram, Rum Diary, Long Dark Teatime of the Soul (or Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency), Gunslinger, Sex Drugs and Cocopuffs, Good Omens, and of course, Wigfield.
My folks are definately my heroes. Also the people I work with. They're awesome too. And Michel Gagne.
