" IN-A-SENSE was born in Charleston, South Carolina .Growing up, Josh overcame many hardships. In a broken home in which his mother worked three jobs to support him and his sister, he realized early that he wanted a better life. As a teenager he started hanging with neighborhood friends, and getting into the street life, which contained many hard lessons that he was tought. After years of running the streets, and hustling on corners and blocks. His mother decide it was time for him to leave that enviroment so she sent Josh to Wichita, Kansas to live with his sister. While there In fell back in to the banging and slanging lifestyle, and had run in after run in with Wichita police until he met the soul that changed his life. One day while working a fellow co-worker heard josh rapping and told her husband Gutta Grind CEO T-Spence. T later offered a deal with the company in which Josh took. after many different events In-A-Sense left the label, and went on to pursue his own label C.B.S. RECORDS. After realizing that being a CEO takes alot away from rappping, In-A-Sense is now back with GUTTA GRIND and plans on releasing his new album this summer.
