Music is my life. I've spent many years doing things that I'm good at, but I have never pursued my passion... until now. Being from New Orleans really means a lot for a musician because we are annoited with a certain charisma that gives us a polish that can be seen even on a person that does not have great dexterity. No matter what the style, you can Hear the difference.I've lived a lot in a few years, had many laughs, losses,and stories to tell. Hurricane Katrina brought me to the Austin area and, for not so obvious reasons, has changed my life. I have a new respect for passion. I believe that if passion is not in mix, then it has to take a back seat to everything else. I'm passionate about my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, I'm passionate about my children, and I'm passionate about music. Notice, there is no wife. LOLI've been around the block musically, playing with some New Orleans legends such as, Gary Brown, Fats Domino, The Zion Harminizers, and The Mighty Chariots. But the more notable gigs have been with Frankie Beverly & Maze,the late Rev. James Cleveland, Daryl Coley, Walter Hawkins & Maxwell.I really just want to make as many friends as I can, and take advantage of this new place, and new start, to make my passion a career and not just a foot note. Deacon Jones (lead guitar Bobby Blue Bland)is my grandfather,he would have wanted it that way.
