The Knife; electro, industrial dance - particularly the stompy stuff; old school industrial; classical - particularly Beethoven and DeBussy, especially the Preludes, but I'm really a sucker for anything with strings and a chorus; some bluegrass, thanks to Jay, such as Lyle Lovett and Alison Kraus; show tunes - seriously;most pop/radio either gives me a headache or makes me want to slap the people who made that crap, the people that play it while yelling at you excitedly from some "awesome good time party place", and the people who think it's actually good, obviously the radio dial is set firmly on NPR
Comedies; classics especially Hitchcock and '60s "sex romps"; anything with Cary Grant; 19th and early 20th century British period pieces; no horror - they give me nightmares unless they're so retarded they become comedies
Jeopardy!, Heroes, The Muppet Show, Arrested Development, The Riches, Scrubs, Battlestar Galactica
Mostly sci-fi and fantasy. I also love pop-biology/genetics books mostly so I can complain how poorly scientists write; Matt Ridley and DT Max's The Family That Couldn't Sleep are pretty good. Otherwise I'm not really picky and will read pretty much anything.
