Go vegan, stay vegan!

About Me

I am getting married to the love of my life, my dear sweet and very talented fiance, Michael, in October. I'm so excited and am looking forward to being "Mrs. Harrison"!I consider myself to be a creative, emotional, happy, energetic and bizarre person. Most of the time I'm very nice and polite, but if you yell at me in Petsmart because you think my dog is barking too much, I might call you a bad name! I'm a complete neat freak and often get made fun of because of my love to label things. I tend to be very scattered and erratic, bouncing around from one thing to the next. On the flip side, I can also be very focused with my efforts when doing things I love (like playing the piano or making a craft project) I value equality, fairness and order. I am a democratic tree-loving, vegan baking, spiritual cowgirl!! I will buy a hybrid as soon as I can afford one, and I have a neglected compost bin in my back yard. I like healthy, organic food and have an addiction to searching through cooking magazines for vegan recipes. I am an idealist who is trying not to let the dark side of life turn me into a cynical person. I am on the quest to further define who I am and what my purpose in life is.

My Interests

I am interested in music, travel, learning french, yoga, reading, meditating erracticly and yellow and blue tea from the cafe in Barnes and Noble. I love all things domestic and would like to step in for Martha Stewart, should she ever need to go back to prision.I am vegan because I believe that animals are not ours to use for food or any other use. I love to hike, but not in the desert. I'm interested in moving out of Tucson as soon as possible, to a place with mountains and trees.

I'd like to meet:

Myspace Layouts For Girls Only - MyGirlySpace.com

Music:

On the piano, I mostly play classical music. I love beethoven, mozart, bach, and clementi, but Chopin is my favorite. I love jazz, bluegrass, funk and many other styles. It's hard to pick a favorite.

Movies:

I think the Simpsons movie that is coming out in summer might replace my current all-time favorite, Mulin Rouge.

Television:

The only show I ever watch is the Simpsons! If I had my way, the only TV in the house would be the little one in the guest bedroom.

Books:

I don't read many novels, but I love to read cookbooks, dog training books, books that enhance my understanding of life and books on French. I highly recommend "the red book" to any girl/woman who is on the quest to learn more about herself.

Heroes:

Anyone who is working toward promoting veganism and the abolition of animal slavery.

My Blog

the perils of social dancing

I love going out to Salsa dance, but what's with all the weird guys that hit on me? It's not like I dont' have a ring on my finger! The other night this guy kept asking me to dance, I kept turning him...
