hi my name is cliff but if i had it my way my name would have been KINGSLY! i grew up in the valley with my parents and brother but if i had it my way,i would have loved to be raised by bunnies and woodland creatures in the forest,we would have lived in a burrow under a giant tree stump.at night we would invite all our close friends, even mean old mr.pumbleton,deep down he has warm heart ,i mean last winter he brought us enough berries and figs to last until fall!''i aint got no use for all that mess''grumbled the old gopher.and as he walked down the winding dark road we new all that 'huffin and 'puffin was only cus' he missed mrs.pumbleton who passed away 4 long years ago. you see they used to be the happiest couple in town,in fact when mrs.pumbleton walked in the room mr.pumbleton would light up like the sunrise.they were truly a sight to be seen!but one dark evening mrs.pumbleton asked mr.pumbleton to take some berries and figs to the otters down by the stream.a large falling of water from the sky was expected and the boys were hard at work, day and night they labored building a dam.well that was the last place in the forest mr.pumbleton wanted to go.you see a few years earlier at the spring jubilee, wally otter who is the forman at the dam site,was getting a little too friendly with mrs.pumbleton by the peach tree.so mr.pumbleton still holding a grudge refused to do what his innocent wife had asked saying''i aint feeding that backstabbing son of a salamander!''.so mrs.pumbleton said ''fine ill take it myself,cus im not letting all the workers go hungry cus of your jealousy!''.so into the forest she went.the next day the town woke to the sound of the emergency bell ringing louder than its ever been rung!we soon discovered the terrible news that mrs.pumbleton has gone missing!the whole town went searching for her,the squirrels searched the trees,the bluebirds were flying in shifts,still no luck.we all knew that if anyone could find her it would be none other than mr.west, a clever fox who is known for his keen detective skills.sure enough a few days later mr.west discovered her scattered remains down by the creek that runs through the willows.ever since then mr.pumbleton has never been the same.but to this day mr.west finds it very interesing that the very place the remains where discovered is the the very same place mr.pumbleton asked for wifes hand in marriage...............but unfortunatly i was forced to live in the city raised by humans.so to make the best of an uncomfortable situation,i pass the time writing music,i try to put the frustration of dealing with you awful people in every song.its really the only thing that helps.
