AMERICAN SOLDIER
The sun shines bright, with the feel of a peaceful breeze
Not a cloud in the sky, as children play in the streets
But this peace, this free spirit, changes over night
As an enemy in a different land shows his might
The sound of terrified screams and people running
This attack is so surreal, and all too stunning
Our country, Our freedom, Our children violated
Anger and emotion get heroes motivated
Sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, make a decision
As these men and women rise to except a mission
Tears are shed, words prayed, and promises made
These heroes set out to war, not letting their strength fade
They don't know where they go, but they do know why
They arrive in this land, after a night in the sky
They unload and set out into the new terrain
The sounds of guns firing, and screams of pain
These soldiers think of their families, and it breaks their heart
Determined American soldiers, nothing can tear them apart
They know why they are here, and wouldn't stray
They are honored as they watch Their country's flag sway
Serving Their counrty, they couldn't be more proud
They fight side by side, their sacrafices heard loud
The feel of victory, triumph in their sight
They will stay, to fight for what is right
Not knowing whether they'll see home again
It makes me proud to be an American
DEDICATED TO THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO SACRAFICE THEIR LIVES TO PROTECT OURS.

REAL HONEST PEOPLE......I CANT STAND FAKE PEOPLE! AS FOR THE LADIES, SOMEONE WHO IS REAL, HONEST, FAITHFUL, AND SOMEONE WHO IS READY FOR A MORE SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP. NO BULLSHIT, NO GAMES...IT'S OLD.
WHERE HAS MY HEART GONE
Looking into oneself, what would you expect to see
As if you ever knew what was there
The heart that has sent you in the right direction
The mind that checked the reality of it
The soul to see if it was true
And the body to carry it out
I find myself in a deep thought
Where has my heart gone
It's almost as if I forget how to feel
Maybe that I never knew
The soul in itself is innocent
And the body only does the work that it is convinced to do
And without the mind I would not be pondering this thought
But where has my heart gone
Was it something I did, or something I said
Whatever it was, the reality of it is
That it no longer lives inside of me
Did I make some kind of compromise
Have I traded it for something else
And if so what did I get in return
