We are Justice Unknown. Our bands purpose was to create heavy, brutal hardcore with crushing breakdowns designed for the pit. We began in the basement of the drummers house in 1995 when a friend introduced the singer, Andrew, to the core band of guitarist Matt, guitarist Ken and drummer Joe. Songs were written and within weeks we were polishing and perfecting our sound for our first demo recording. During that time we established credability within our own small Long Island hardcore scene by playing various beer parties and small venue shows. After recording our first two demos a record store owner became very interested in our music and offered to put out a full length on his new label, None of the Above records, which was also the name of his record store. We poured our resources into that recording and mastered what you now hear, tracks from "This is What Rage is About". After approximately 3 years of playing shows the band unexpectantly split. As they say, its better to burn out then fade away!! Enjoy!
