Music:

Band Website: kamuirecordings.com/
Influences: I was born in Gunma, Japan in 1971.
When I was 10, my elder brother introduced me to the 50's rock&roll music such as ELVIS PRESLEY, BUDDY HOLLY, EDDIE COCHRAN, etc.
At the age of 16, with the influence of them, this lead me to organize a Rock'A'Billy band. At 18, I moved up to Tokyo, and began working in the legendary club "MILOS GARAGE" at Shinjyuku which is known as the grass roots of the club scene in Tokyo.
I met many DJ's and learned all sorts of Music...Rock, Hip Hop, House, Dance Classic, Reggae, R&B, etc.
FRANCOIS K from New York is one of the musician who had inspired me deeply with his ambient set. This had influenced me to start thinking differently.
Suddenly, I felt the club scene in Tokyo was changing. So in 1996, I left the club after working for 5 years and took a trip to India.
This was the time when I had devoted myself to the 60's and 70's psychedelic and progressive sound, especially,THE BEATLES. and I was very interested in the music and the culture of India.
The travel to India was very pungent and was meaningful for me because US was the only country I ever traveled before. and I was influenced by especially the trance music which I heard it in the Goa's Anjuna beach for the very first time.
After the trip, I bought Macintosh and MIDI equipments and started making music.
Afterwards, I went on a trip to various countries.....Asia, Europe, and Africa.
However, I came to feel life in Tokyo tight every time I returned from trip.
So here I am in Gunma after leaving Tokyo in 2002, and staying in Australia for a year.
