About Me

Mexican hardcore five-piece band. Plaztik was formed in the late '90s by ex-members of No Se Antarez, Bodka, and Livido. Focused on controversial social issues expressed in a contemporary heavy metal style, the band recorded an EP in 1998 called Dolor Interno, produced by José de la Mora and followed by Llanto Perdido in 1999. After winning a local contest, Plaztik got the opportunity to open for Santa Sabina, a Mexican alternative act. In the year 2000, the group released Escaridades, a 10 song EP fueled with raw emotions, and heavy sounds. Their last release was back in 2001, titled "version 4 : Maldad" and marked the end of Plaztik as a band, but also the beginning of a new road for each member of the band. This space is dedicated to them and all of the people that were involved in their music scene.
