Martin Moretto is one of New York's active Argentine
guitarists. As well as leading his own group, he composes, arranges, and
collaborates in diverse popular and contemporary settings. Most notably he
is a member of the legendary Argentine Progressive Tango group, Alas (Wings). Martin has performed in the concert halls of
Brasil, Argentina, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Peru and Chile, and in the halls and
nightclubs of New York, including appearances at the Lincoln Center, Blue Note, 55Bar, Cornelia Street Cafe (among others) with Alas, Avantango, Ana Saeki, Juan Lazaro
Mendolas Quartet, Three Sad Cats, Zvi Migdal Tango Orchestra, the WPU Jazz Orchestra.
He also has shared the stage with the likes of Daniel Binelli, Nestor
Marconi, Hector Del Curto, Pedro Aznar, Dario Eskenazi, Pablo Aslan, Polly Ferman, Jonathan Blake, Diego
Urcola, Oscar Feldman, Jeff Hirshfield and John Riley.
