TÖT

T O T is a pure incarnation of underground electronic
music with members coming from bands like PRODROME17,
DAS PRATIKAT, O K O SYSTEM.
Formed in 1994 by two EBM lovers in Aix-en-Provence,
DAS PRATIKAT was the first incarnation of TT. Rough
demos recorded on 4 tracks recorder where spread
without reaching any public. The following year, DAS
PRATIKAT became TOTENKOPF, a trio composing in a more
experimental way thanks to some O K O SYSTEM members
(Tekno-Punk cult band). After many demos, the band
split up and only remained a solo project renamed T O T
in a more Electro-Dark mood.
In 1999 T O T singer joined PRODROME17 (ex Death Rock
band LACRIMA CHRISTI). The trio begun to write Electro
Indus stuffs. And after two years of hard work the
band succeeded to catch an audience in the local
Electro-Goth scene, through radio broadcasts and
opening live act for NOISEX. But internal problems
would lead to a split up. A nearly finalised album
would never be edited.
After two long years of stand-by, YB and FT decided to
rerecord old stuffs with potential while composing new
songs.
In 2005, REPLIKANTS RECORDS was created to promote T O T
and others Electro bands from South-East France :
QUANTIC CHURCH, KARNE METAL BOX, AROME ARTIFICIEL. Z,
member from the early T O T rejoined the band ten years
after his departure. The nightmare continues
