It was a dark and stormy night...well maybe not. On March 14, 1972 I was brought into this world. Don't really remember it but I have concrete proof. The location was a hospital on Monroe Street in Hutchinson, Ks. The building is there, but is no longer a hospital. Not sure what it is now. Apartments, day care, hair salon, something like that. From what I've been told, I lived a pretty normal childhood. Not counting my parents divorce, shuffled from one house to another, and the evil step-parents. Sounds like I could be harboring hostility, but not true. Everything ok upstairs, trust me. Fast forward a few years. They say that high school is the "greatest 4 years of your life." Maybe. It was at least 4 years out of my life. Not the most popular by any means, but I wasn't getting may ass kicked on a regular basis. Had a handful of friends and interests to keep me entertained. Fast forward. After graduation I sat out a year before going to college. Wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life. Decided on a college down in Oklahoma and majored in Criminal Justice. My intentions were good but only stuck it out for 2 years. Back then one could buy beer 24 hrs a day, seven days a week. Pretty bad when ya sell your text books for beer runs. Like I said, my intentions were good. Moved back to The Land Of Oz and realized that driving a truck was my calling, my passion, my reason for living. Ok, not really but it pays pretty good. Elvis Presley was a truck driver. Look how he turned out. Uh oh, never mind. Bored yet? Ok. Fast forward. I met someone, got married, and had a baby. That was the best thing that ever happened to me. Not the marriage part, but the baby part. Wouldn't change that for the world. Hagen is probably the only thing that keeps me grounded. He is my calling, my passion, my reason for living. Ok, let's wrap this up. By the way, got a divorce 2 years ago. From my profile you have gathered that I love women, motorcycles, and music. May not be able to tell from my picture, but I have a Mohawk. That is me on my bike. Lived 10+ years in marital hell being told what to do, what not to do, what to think, etc....Mentioned that I wanted this hairstyle one day and the wife informed me it would be the dumbest thing I ever did. Signed the papers October 8th 2004. Got the Mohawk October 9th 2004. KISS MY ASS!! It fits me and have been informed by several people that not having a Mohawk would be the dumbest thing I ever did. Where does that leave us? I work, I play, and I try to be as optimistic as possible. Am now living under my rules and not bothering myself with what others think. Remember people, conformity sucks.
