Spending time with my husband and family... Going to church and Bible study... Filmmaking [videography and digital editing]... Reading African American romance novels [especially by author Beverly Jenkins and the Hideaway series by Rochelle Alers]... Writing and emailing... Shopping for designer handbags, home decor, gifts, books and clothes... Reading black magazines of all kinds [music, entertainment, fashion, health]... Watching television... Going to the movies... Supporting the activities of my (step)son, niece and nephews... Talking to my sister circle of girlfriends... Surfing the internet... Planning events... Organizing chaos... soliciting donations for the March of Dimes and Walk America... and most of all... SLEEPING!!!

I like the old school and the new. My first records were "Brandy," by the O'Jay's, "Atomic Dog," by George Clinton & P-Funk, and "Give It To Me Baby," by Rick James. All given to me by my grandmother and played out on my baby blue Mickey Mouse record player in the 1970's.Nowadays I listen to gospel, R&B and rap music in the CD player of our SUV.
Make Black Film By Any Means Necessary!!! As you can see, I love comedies, family drama, and romantic films. I forgot to add "Jerry Maguire" to my list, and I've bothered my brother Gee enough to help me make this myspace page. And if you're wondering why I have Master P's debut film on my list, it's because that's the first film I ever helped to make when I was 19 years old.
My favorite TV shows are black 1-hour dramas like "Soul Food," ALL "Law & Order" shows, anything on HGTV, celebrity gossip shows on VH1, and several black sit-coms such as: "Good Times," "What's Happenin'," "Girlfriends," "All of Us" [when Elise Neal's character was a part of the cast], "The Steve Harvey Show," "Martin," and the list goes on.I also LOVE "Run's House" on MTV. That's my favorite reality TV show. Favorite soap operas are "The Young & The Restless" and "Days of Our Lives."I loved "ComicView" when Rickey Smiley hosted the Atlanta tapings because that's the best season I experienced of the three seasons I worked at BET.I like Dr. Phil's daytime talk show and I used to love Arsenio Hall's late night talk show.
I am an avid reader of African American romance novels. Here are all of my favorites... except a few covers from the Hideaway series by Rochelle Alers. Still don't want to bother Gee again...I plan to become a contemporary urban romance novelist myself someday.
