WE PRACTICE WITH FULL POWER BECAUSE IT ALLOWS US TO GO BEYOND OURSELVES. IN GOING BEYOND OURSELVES WE ARE BEYOND FEAR, THEREFORE WE ARE FREE.
I love life. I love my job and the people that I work with. We are all good friends in the office. We are like a family. I feel very lucky. Its really lucky if you like what you do for a living and even more lucky if you like who your working with. I work as an interior designer and the company is called for Furniture Plus Design. I have been a part of the Furniture Plus Design team since 2001, and I were many hats in the firm. Although my focus is primarily Interior Design, I also assists in sales and marketing. I enjoy working for a firm whose diversity allows me to experience a variety of projects, including restaurants, nightclubs, and healthcare facilities. I also do a majority of the firm's Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings.I come from a Kamaaina family. My relatives were the first missionaries that settled in the Hawaiian Islands 1820. Prior to coming to Hawaii I worked as an electrician in Long Beach, CA. I moved to Hawaii in 1989 and worked as Director of Security for Pohai Nani a retirement community in Kaneohe. During that time I put myself through school and received an AA degree from UH, a BFA from Chaminade University and a Black Belt from The International Karate Federation. After 15 years of getting my ass kicked I am now a 2nd Degree Black Belt and a certified Karate Instructor for the I.K.F. I live on top of Tantalus Mountain. I love the outdoors, I like to swim in the ocean and hike in the jungle. During my spare time I enjoy life drawing at a local college. I belong to several organizations including the Hawaiian Missionary Childrens Society, Windward Drawing Club, The Sierra Club and the ASID.
