Remember I said I love the 80's? Well, my two favorite movies are The Breakfast Club, Back to the Future Trilogy...but we can't rule out Vegas Vacation, Office Space, Napoleon Dynamite, Sweet Home Alabama, SLC punk, Coyote Ugly, Grease, Dirty Dancing, Eurotrip, A walk to remember, A League of Their Own, Sandlot, Cool Runnings, Empire Records, Swing Kids, Encino Man, Forever Young, Silence of the Lambs, Saw. Movies like that. I'm not really into any sort of animated stuff or cartoon things...idk, they just don't interest me. I love any horror movie or something with a psycho thriller deal to it.....I love being scared....it's the greatest feeling in the world. I like twisted movies, I like to think about the unknown....
Not a big television fan...though I do enjoy it on occasion. Reno 911, Conan O'brien, King of Queens, Sex and the City, Jay Leno, SNL, Everybody loves Raymond, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and anything on the food network...honestly though I'd rather spend my time working out, cooking, reading or being online.
I just bought a collection of works by Darwin, and I'm looking forward to reading them. I like reading things that make me think. Stories that cause me to be empathetic. That is how I know if a book is good, does it give me the chills after reading it? Do I want to cry? Can I see myself in that person's shoes? Am I left with that feeling of nausea in my stomach after reading about tragedy? Some of my favorite stuff in the past has been short stories by Jack London, Plays by Arthur Miller, Poems by Robert Frost, Books by HTD and Ralph Waldo EmersonMy favorite quote by Robert Frost: "And were an epitaph to be my story I'd have a short one ready for my own. I would have written of me on my stone: I had a lover's quarrel with the world."I wish that I had that talent...
