I love the fine arts, but over the last 5 years my interests have drastically refocused on learning all I can about my 5 year old son's heart condition (Tricuspid Atresia Single Ventricle) the effects that having cleft lip/palate is and will have on his speech and other areas of health, and what he's gone through has done to contribute to his sensory system, and social skills.
Friends, old and new, there's a lot of people from my younger days who I've lost touch with and miss.

My Mom and my 5 year old are my biggest hero's! My Mom fought a very long 8 years and terribly hard battle with Non-Hodgekins Lymphoma, she lost her fight February 6 1991, I was just 14 years old when she died, but the fight she gave, the love she showed, the strength she had, I was young, but I learned so much from her, and I will never forget her! My son because he has that same spark, fight in his little body, there were times I was terrified he'd give up, and he almost did, but then that little fire in his spirit kicked in and he's now the most amazing gift from God, a firey little redhead who's taught me so much about enjoying the little gifts life has for us.
