I like to walk in the rain, I enjoy viewing the stars and I've had many a conversation with the moon, for the record, She is a She and She is a very good listener.I prefer sunrise to sunset and night to day, a fountain pen to a ball point and snail mail to email.I have never felt more at home than when roaming a forest or paddling my kayak late at night.I like to write and my writing takes many forms some of which I will share here. I write whatever is on my mind and in my heart without regard to form, my writting is not great but it is me. My Interests

The Forest is my true home and I would rather be there then most any place else. When I do find myself in the land of concrete and asphalt good books and better Friends make it bearable.I enjoy reading and looking for books. I have spent many a day wandering old book shops and plan to open my own soon.I love camping, hiking, open water kayaking, cooking, reading, animals and writing letters the old way.

My music interests are varied with a slant toward Indie Groups many of which You may not have heard of. Some of my more main stream favorites are; Meatloaf, Kansas, Bob Seger, Queen, Sheryl Crow, Jim Brickman, Jewel, Norah Jones, Harry Connick Jr., Billy Joel, The Eagles, Jimmy Buffett, Johnny Cash, Heart, Bruce Springsteen, Warren Zevon,Santana, Sophie B Hawkins, Brian Adams, Bette Midler, Dido, The Motels, Greenday, Blink 182, Marvin Gaye, Billy Holliday, B.B.King, Maceo Parker, Otis Redding, The Isley Brothers, Wilson Pickett, Clarence Carter, Sam and Dave, Sam Cooke, Nina Simone, Bach, Mozart and the list could go on and on...basically I love good music

Movies:

The Princess Bride, Casablanca, The Maltess Falcan, The Searchers, High Fidelity, Boondock Saints, Seven Samurai, The Duelists, Blazing Saddles, A Knights Tale, Evil Dead I, II and III Army of Darkness, Bubba Ho-Tep and Easy Rider.

Television:

I am not much of a television watcher, I prefer films but I do enjoy Boston Legal.

Books:

I enjoy reading anything I can get my hands on especially poetry, history and classic literature. A few of my favorite authors are, Hemingway, C.S. Lewis, Tolkien, Wilde, Rilke and Dostoevsky. I also enjoy Christopher Moore, Douglas Adams and Harry Turtledove.

Heroes:
