The arrival of a new member Jere Garcia has brought in even more sweat and expression and today the group of three is riding on a high tide. ACCU is also known to be a pioneer in combining sound, live energy and moving picture across a wide spectrum of genres. Cousins Lacce and Harpov formed highly energetic party engine ACCU in the aftermath of “Heads and Bodies” band. The arrival of a new member Jere Garcia in the second album has brought in even more sweat and expression into the sound and live act of ACCU. Today the group of three is riding on a high tide and lighting dance floors in fire. ACCU has produced its own superior sound that is simultaneously both fresh and familiar. Their first CD release ACCU in 2002 received a very warm welcome. Dj magazine hailed the album as “Beach Boys meeting Happy Mondays for serious loungecore” and Music & Media pictured ACCU as “ABBA laced with Yello”. Lasso is the second album release from ACCU and highly praised and favoured singles “IN THE CITY” and “OUT OF THE BLUE”, which features singer Laura Närhi, have accompanied it. With the Lasso album, ACCU has brought disco music into the new millennium. ACCU is also known to be a pioneer in combining sound, live energy and moving pictures and other visuals. It has created an interesting new style of audio-visual-show-extravaganza and easy to interact. Its number of live musicians and go-go dancers are known to grow to “funkadelic measures” depending on the needs of the show. The band has been favoured act in numerous festivals and events like AMSTERDAM DANCE EVENT, NORDIC BEAT, PROVINSSI ROCK, PASIFIQUE, KONEISTO and KONEMETSA and SONAR (Barcelona). ACCU has also performed in numerous clubs globally, for example in CARGO CLUB and NOTTING HILL ARTS CLUB ARTS CLUB (London), PLATFORMA (St. Petersburg) and PREMIER (Malaga).----
