About Me

Tours is a Dj/Remixer from Melbourne Australia.
Tours has been djing for around 7 years, beginning his career in 2001. A break dancer at the time, he became influenced by the dj mix tapes and the music he was dancing to and decided to pick up a second element of the hip hop culture, Djing. From here djing took over from dancing, tours began playing break beats and hip hop, before moving over to the more commercial RnB Scene.
After leaving the bedroom and doing countless mobile gigs, tours started out in the underage scene at the age of 16, his first gig playing alongside close friend Rob E at Jooce underage. Once legal tours began working in the cheesy suburban pub scene, realizing this is not where he wanted to be he moved over to the urban club scene and concentrated solely on urban music, playing at some of Melbourneâ€™s best RnB nights at venues such as Mercury Lounge, Next Blue, Seven, Billboards, Room 680, Mint, Balcony and Saratoga just to name a few.
Playing a unique blend of urban music, Tours style concentrates on smoothly mixing exclusive remixes to keep the dance floor full and the party jumping. Tours spends hours in the studio perfecting his remixes and party breaks, making his sound different from other djs which will be sure not to disappoint.
To date a highlight in Tours career was having the opportunity to play at one of Indonesiaâ€™s leading nightclubs, blowfish. Tours hopes to return to South East Asia in the near future. Keep an eye out for Dj Tours mix tapes throughout 2008.
