Sooo.... can't say im a fan of these things but hey!
Well im 20yrs old, Love Lisa, Love music, kickin it with the crew, going out & my car!!
I've been spinning tunes since bout 16 now, started out on a laptop and PCDJ red. I then got a hold of a cdj100 & djm 300 to start me off in the right direction. After making my mum and friends listen to my trainwrecking after school, I got the confidence to do my first gig! From there on I had realised djing and the love for music was for me. At 17 I had made it into the clubs, but only with the help of some awesome friends that gave me the opportunity, tours, hoesty & sensation.
Me and my homie hopeless had spent countless hours remixing new tracks, competing and bettering each others remix til the early hours of the morning. Lucky I could control myself and get to sleep a few hours before school or before my dad came in to kick my ass because I been up all night on the computer! But hopeless was unlucky, it got to him... and made him fail yr 11 LOL! But no doubt, the countless hours we spent remixing is an experience that cannot be taught by anyone else but yourself & it made me develop my own style in djing and not be a clone of the other djs out there! Also, if it wasn't Kev criticising me for every tiny little thing that i did wrong in my music, i wouldn't have gotten half as far as i have. True story!
Since then I've been djing at alot of places, more than I can even remember! I don't think there was many big underages in 05/06 that i wasn't dropping hot hopeless & an-D remixes at!
At the start of this year I had nearly given up on djing, having a full time job and actually having some sort of responsibility didn't leave me with much time on my hands to find new tunes and even remix them, but kev was pushing me like a mofo and i started to get back into the game, never regretted it! w0rd.
