The L.A. music scene currently consists of a barren wasteland of music that is meant for nothing more but to rott the mind, and to steer away from what is important in life, as apposed to the material things in life like rims, and so called "bling" lifestyles.The story behind Mind Delay is a story all on its own. But to sum it all up as much as we could, M.D. is much more than just a unit of 4 trying to expand the horizons of music through our individual influences and creating a whole new experience for the body and mind. Although M.D. consist of a basic musical unit it does not limit itself to just that. M.D. is here to be a wide variation of our spoken word through collaborations of all types, wether it is in the realm of hip hop or rock n' roll, through tribal drummings and the soul of blues with the odd time signatures of jazz and much more.Mind Delay was formed in the after math of several other failed ventures with other bands. with Dimas on drums, Frank on guitar and Josh on bass. Richard was soon recruited to represent our aggression through vocals. It only took a few rehearsals to see that there was real chemistry with the line up and Mind Delay as we know it now was born. With a permanent line up in place the we began a song writing fury and playing shows all over the city. Everything from back yard jams to club gigs, if you needed a kick ass band we were there.[ to be continued...bio work in progress ]
