I was born in the third century CE in Cilicia and have chronicled the lives of many ancient Greek philosophers. My book "Lives of the Philosophers" is a set of ten books which are still an important source for Greek philosophy. There are two classes of philosophers that I believe in: the Ionic and the Italian. The first seven books are focused on the Ionic philosophers while the last three are focused on the Italian philosophers.
