I currently live in Diamond Heights, right below Sutro Tower. I grew up in Alameda and moved to the City 9 years ago. Went to Alameda High, and just didn't do the whole small Island lifestyle too well. Living in this small...small... gay town has shaped me into the man I am today, I've learned so many life lessons and have met so many amazing people/life long friends. On another subject. DATING... Jesus Christ is it hard to date in SF. I once thought it was me, But it's not. Men here are just emotionally unavailable!!! It's been a real challenge being surrounded by other gay men that aren't on the same page & don't share the same outlook on life as i do. Not that I'm some angel or anything. I just want someone to get me for me which isn't that hard. Also someone that has there F'ing shit together. I like the nice things in life. I like nice dinners, nice clothes on my back & being able to do what I want. I'm very independent, disgustingly neat and clean, I don't snore. I give awsome massages, and I'm a tailor!!! whatelse do ya need?!? ;-)Seems there's this drug influenced, hedonistic, sex before last names, disregaurd & no responsibility mantality men seem to have,(What gives...?) Then again maybe I just need to meet better people to date. **Note to self** Your not going to find Mr. Right in a dark bar on a Wednesday night playing pool. or in the Castro in general.Okay nuff of that "woe is me" bull-shit.... Being on my own since I was 16 has been the driving force in my life to show not only myself, but everyone I care about that I'm worth something, will be successful and can do great things. Which I have, and am still on the track of doing. The BIGGEST outlet I do is playing pool. I have been a member of the San Francisco Pool Association for a few years now and it's definatly what I do on my down time. Gooooooo, Cafezerz!I'm a tailor at heart and to pay the bills I work in Residential Property Management.I love my life and the little world I have created here in SF. I wouldn't change a thing...well maybe a few, but people have to want to change, you can't make or force someone to.
