..I’ve always been an active individual with dreams that always went further than the eye can see. I’ve always had a love for music and can remember running home from school everyday to listen to Mary J. Blige, TLC and Queen Latifah. Music was always in my blood, but Hip-Hop captured my heart. Once in college, I became a part of a college radio show with my friend DJ O-Smooth where we entertained the campus in the evenings. This is when I knew that I wanted to be in this industry of radio and television. I decided to move to Florida to continue my studies to major in Video Production. In the midst of my move God would start to move in my life and reveal himself in a way unimaginable. I began living out my dreams that I once imagined. I received a college degree, became a vdeo editor fresh out of college, I’ve traveled the world and met people from all walks of life. I had the oppurtunity to meet many people in the music industry. Some inspired me and others drove my spirit away. All the time wanting to pursue my musical passion of rhyming, my heart always had a love for God and the message he wanted to spread. I knew that the secular market did not want that, but my heart knew it was needed. It wasn’t until my meeting with Lauryn Hill - "Ms. Hill" at a recording studio in FL, that would spark that flame and desire to follow my heart. Lauryn’s words of encouragement took me back into the lab and into my prayer closet.God has birth a new vision, a new passion, a new desire in this young lady. My passion for youth has overwhelmed me with the desire for ministry. It’s no longer so much about the music, but what happens after the music has faded. What souls will be saved? Hip-Hop, rap, whatever you want to label it as, is the tool that has been given to reach this lost generation. A generation who has been lead astray, a generation who has forgotten about the love of Christ. My heart beats ministry and Hip-Hop is the way I preach...
