SOUL ACROBATS INC. was founded and directed by Alvin Tam. As a veteran circus artist for over 12 years who is currently performing in Las Vegas as an aerial acrobat and character understudy, his goal is to translate the mindset of an acrobat into life lessons for his audience so that they may benefit from these powerful principles.
Acrobatics is a way of seeing life. It is a focused mindset, a flexible approach, a less-traveled path. It asks of you to walk to your edge, to transform the impossible into reality. It demands attention to detail, timing. Decisions make or break everything. And through it all, the execution is artful. Alvin TamSOUL ACROBATS INC. was created in 2005 with three other key founding members: Darren Dos Santos, Christian Durocher, and Marylene Hickok, all of whom are also established gymnasts, circus artists and are currently performing in Las Vegas.
SOUL ACROBATS documentary short film The Spirit of a Hero won 2nd runner up in a Las Vegas 48 hour film festival, including best musical score and best choreography. The company has also recently completed Sky Project a stunning and powerful film on the freedom of aerial acrobatics, as well as the brand new videos SOUL ACROBATS Unplugged which showcase some of the amazing acrobatic talent that SOUL ACROBATS come into contact with and a behind-the- scenes look at the making of the company.

Upon graduating from the National Circus School in Montreal, Alvin began a whirlwind performing career spanning 9 countries, 200 cities and 1500 shows. He has performed in circuses, musicals, childrens theater, and film and television. He has directed shows and film - Kosmogonia, a 900 seat exterior circus show and The Spirit of a Hero, an award-winning documentary short. Currently Alvin is performing on the newest Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vegas, K, as an aerial acrobat, stunt performer and character actor.
Alvin is the founder and President of Soul Acrobats Inc. The Nevada-based company comprises professional acrobats and artists who take the values learned from their performing and touring experiences and share them through video, photography, and books. His goal is to help others create their dreams by helping them realize their potential, overcome fears and make an art of the impossible.
DARREN DOS SANTOS VICE PRESIDENT
Darren Dos Santos is a professional acrobat; sixteen years of training and competing gymnastics from national to international levels. He was the Canadian Junior National Champion before accepting a university scholarship in gymnastics. In 2002, Cirque du Soleil offered him a position in their biggest creation to date, K in Las Vegas where he is the captain and performer of an intricate aerial act.Darren is a teacher, a leader and is the Vice-President of Soul Acrobats Inc. His goal is to express the values of experiences and share an understanding of being an acrobat; so that others might learn and realize their innate potential.MARYLENE HICKOK DIRECTOR OF VISUAL DESIGN
After only 2 years at the National Circus School, Montreal native Marylene Hickok accepted a contract to perform in an aerial act with Cirque du Soleil in Orlando, Florida. For 5 years she challenged heights with her duo trapeze act, as well as perfecting skills as a major character in the show. Her solid commitment and finely-tuned artistry propelled her into her next project with the Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas with K. There she continues her flight as an aerial acrobat and character performer.As part of Soul Acrobats Inc., Marylene is the lead for creating, shooting and editing powerful acrobatic photography designed to inspire, empower, and reflect.THE PRODUCTS

Passion, commitment and finding personal edge are elements that an acrobat must embrace on a regular basis and can ultimately be applied to any aspect of life.
