I see insects everywhere I look, I see them crawling all over my skin, I've learned to accept this. I have let go and stop trying I let the old ghosts enter me and tell me what to do. I only see the glowing halo outline of life, the deeper I look at things the more blurred and coagulated it becomes. Old toys and machines consume my dreams as I make my escape to my solitude in the anthill underneath my bed. My dog sometimes visits me through my window but sometimes I have to squeeze his paws and pull him in if he's afraid of leaving his afterlife. My heartbeat creates a pattern that is offbeat by two octaves to the left of my rapid eye movement, this allows me to communicate with the insects that crawl on my skin. Insects sometimes leave footprints on my eyes which turn my eyes into snow globes, all is whirling, twisting and turning in my vision. I am 29 years counting backwards to a state of being that lives on a microscope slide that people put on display at carnival shows run by firefly ghosts and crawfish. Sometimes the insects leave me and I feel alone, I have learned to cope with this by staring at dust particles in my room and try to think of each one as memory that is incomplete and struggles to get out of its cocoon. My dreams and reality are as one, I can tell no difference the insects and noises in my ear are one color and will continue to twitch until I reach zero once again. I caught a lizard a while ago it was filled with so much life and energy, it jumped out of my hand and left me it's tail, the tail danced and sang to me, I was finally in a state of calmness and oneness with the world inside my head.
