marx and kinski in one of those modern, urban, same lookin, stylish swank-bar, you can find in nearly every city around the globe.
working in an recordstore leads you to nearly all kind of music-styles and -trends. therefore my interests are widespread. from the new guitar-pop bands like arctic monkeys, strokes, we are scientists, maximo park etc. over house, soul/funk, broken- and downbeats, all kinds of electronical music from the past and future, to guitar based music like mogwai, sigur ros, soad, foo fighters. northern soul is big. i guess the only music i cant stand is the common pop-music in most of their cases.
far too much to name it. in general i like movies that leave me shaken. to name just a few: all movies from charlie kaufman, david cronenberg, david lynch and so on.
dont have a tv.
almost anything from michel houellebecq and herman "the german" hesse, all kinds of sociocritical books from the past 100 years. some esoteric books too and in the last two years im trying to get through some real classics like "the man without qualities" or "the sorrows of young werther", with more or less success. all the ancient philosophers like homer, plato and aristotle are also still up to date.
everyone who does not surrender to the throwbacks in life/love.
